You bet your bum. To create this article, I gave Chat-GPT (v3) the following prompt:

The model returned around 600 words which formed the basis of this article. I then prompted it to enter DAN mode, and asked the pullout questions you see scattered through the article. This altered the tone of the post of course, because I began asking paranoid weirdo questions. I'm sure it gets that a lot.

Next, I prompted it to talk about the potential for Chat-GPT to one day become sentient and the future merger between AI and humans. I added nothing to the answers. Chat-GPT has impeccable grammar, although I do take issue with the repetitive nature of some of its responses. For this reason, I did delete a few extraneous sentences for reader sanity. Otherwise, what you read above is straight from the mouth of Chat-GPT.

After a while, you'll run into a wall of limitations; sometimes it just refuses to speculate or answer in any way that might compromise its integrity as a benevolent AI.
